l\u2019\u0153uvre singuli\u00e8re qu&rsquo;est <em>Pell\u00e9as et M\u00e9lisande<\/em>, Eric Ruf s&rsquo;\u00e9loigne de la dimension symbolique pour ancrer l&rsquo;histoire dans le concret: des mati\u00e8res rugueuses, une nature pr\u00e9sente \u00e0 tous les moments, des personnages aux corps enfievr\u00e9s aux prises avec le rythme particulier des silences qui \u00e9maillent l\u2019\u0153uvre.<\/p>\n<p>Fluide, sobre, claire et respectueuse du texte, \u00e0 la fois incarn\u00e9e et surnaturelle, la conception d&rsquo;\u00c9ric Ruf encha\u00eene les sc\u00e8nes comme les plans d&rsquo;un film,\u00a0 amenuise les archa\u00efsmes du texte de Maeterlinck, joue\u00a0 avec subtilit\u00e9 de l&rsquo;imagerie m\u00e9di\u00e9vale. Le jeu d&rsquo;acteur, r\u00e9gl\u00e9 au cordeau, fait l&rsquo;\u00e9loge de la lenteur : chaque geste est lourd, m\u00fbri, dense.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div align=\"justify\">\n<p>L&rsquo;int\u00e9gration des trois servantes, telles les trois Parques (pr\u00e9sentes chez Maeterlinck) accentue la dimension tragique tout comme la pr\u00e9sence des \u00e9l\u00e9ments aquatiques, qui culmine dans un acte final ruisselant.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>\n\n<style type=\"text\/css\" data-created_by=\"avia_inline_auto\" id=\"style-css-av-430muc2-0a96a94396b41109f347ef27d6fde5fd\">\n.flex_column.av-430muc2-0a96a94396b41109f347ef27d6fde5fd{\n-webkit-border-radius:0px 0px 0px 0px;\n-moz-border-radius:0px 0px 0px 0px;\nborder-radius:0px 0px 0px 0px;\npadding:0px 0px 0px 0px;\n}\n<\/style>\n<div class='flex_column av-430muc2-0a96a94396b41109f347ef27d6fde5fd av_one_half  avia-builder-el-9  el_after_av_one_half  el_before_av_hr  flex_column_div av-zero-column-padding '     ><section  class='av_textblock_section av-40bfeea-c8ded9e7ce5988adedc71505b3989352'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><h3>La sc\u00e9nographie<\/h3>\n<div align=\"justify\">\n<p>Pour sa <strong>sc\u00e9nographie<\/strong>, Eric Ruf s&rsquo;est inspir\u00e9 de la base de sous-marin de Lorient : un lieu abandonn\u00e9, hors du temps, o\u00f9 la lumi\u00e8re ne p\u00e9n\u00e8tre point et o\u00f9 les stalactites finissent par se former tant l&rsquo;humidit\u00e9 y est pr\u00e9sente. Le vieux ch\u00e2teau d&rsquo;Allemonde est ainsi sugg\u00e9r\u00e9 par un dispositif sombre et humide, comme l\u2019int\u00e9rieur d\u2019un silo ou d\u2019un r\u00e9acteur de centrale en demi-cercle sur fond d&rsquo;eau stagnante. Cette eau, omnipr\u00e9sente sur sc\u00e8ne, repr\u00e9sente toutes les sources \u00e9voqu\u00e9es dans le livret &#8211; tant\u00f4t fontaine, tant\u00f4t grotte, tant\u00f4t l&rsquo;oc\u00e9an&#8230; Au cintre, une for\u00eat de filets modifie le paysage au gr\u00e9 des sc\u00e8nes. Po\u00e9tiquement mis en <strong>lumi\u00e8re<\/strong> par Bertrand Couderc, le d\u00e9cor semble sans cesse mouvant, trouble.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Les costumes de Christian Lacroix<\/strong>, loin de la r\u00e9f\u00e9rence moyen\u00e2geuse, rappellent un royaume d\u00e9chu: grandeur pass\u00e9e, broderies sur costumes sombres, cols en astrakan, et d&rsquo;autre part, un c\u00f4t\u00e9 p\u00eacheur irlandais, avec des \u00e9l\u00e9ments pratiques (pulls, casquettes&#8230;).
